AN ACT relating to the Office of Education Accountability.
Amend KRS 7.410 to require the Assessment and Accountability Review Subcommittee to advise and monitor the Office of Education Accountability; amend KRS 158.647 to conform.
SB 280 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Retain original provisions; require the Office of Education Accountability to submit a summary report its investigations to the Education Assessment and Accountability Review Subcommittee; make technical corrections.
SFA (1, V. McGaha) - Retain original provisions, except require the Office of Education Accountability to monitor and verify the accuracy of reports of the Department of Education and the Kentucky Board of Education.
SFA (2, V. McGaha) - Retain original provisions, except provide that the Office of Education Accountability shall verify and validate the state assessment program through other external indicators of academic progress.
HCS - Retain original provisions; clarify that the Office of Education Accountability shall monitor and verify the accuracy of reports of the Department of Education and the Kentucky Board of Education upon and under the direction of the Education Assessment and Accountability Review Subcommittee.
