SB 287 (BR 2225) - D. Williams
AN ACT relating to school district employees.
Amend KRS 160.380 to permit the spouse of a principal to work in the principal's school if the district contains no more than one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school; change references from "chief state school officer" to the "commissioner of education"; and make additional technical corrections.
SB 287 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, J. Stacy) - Allow the spouse of a principal to work in his or her school in districts containing elementary schools and only 1 middle school and 1 high school.
HFA (2, G. Stumbo) - Provide that persons who worked on a contract basis to a school district prior to being hired by the district be considered employed during the time they provided contractual services.
