AN ACT relating to sovereign immunity.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 44 and amend KRS 44.072 and 44.073 to provide for waiving of sovereign immunity to the extent that the state has purchased liability insurance or maintains self-insurance for the purpose of providing liability coverage for personal injury, wrongful death, or property damage; create a new section of KRS Chapter 65 to provide that when a political subdivision of the Commonwealth maintains liability insurance or self-insurance for the purpose of providing liability coverage for personal injury, wrongful death, or property damage, there is no waiver of sovereign immunity.
