AN ACT relating to speed limits.
Amend KRS 189.390, relating to speed limits, to set the maximum speed limit on Interstates, parkways, and divided highways with 4 or more lanes at 70 MPH for passenger vehicles and 65 MPH for commercial vehicles over 6000 pounds, set speed limits on two lane state roads at 65 MPH except where the Transportation Cabinet establishes a lower speed limit based on safety reasons; amend 189.394, regarding fines for speed limits, to conform.
SB 292 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Retain original provisions of the bill with the following exceptions: remove lower speed limit for commercial vehicles and set maximum speed limit for all vehicles on interstates and parkways at 70 MPH.
