AN ACT relating to court fees and costs.
Amend KRS 23A.205, KRS 24A.175, and KRS 64.092 to increase amount of court costs that are paid to sheriffs from five dollars to twelve dollars; increase amount of court costs in criminal cases.
SB 326 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, J. Jenkins) - Add new section to amend KRS 30A.200 to require a 5% fee be levied on additional types of court payments with funds to be used to defray the cost of employing deputy clerks.
HFA (2/Title, J. Jenkins) - Title
HFA (3, J. Vincent) - Amend amount of compensation for a sheriff or other law enforcement officer serving a Circuit or District Court from $8 per hour to $10 per hour.
