AN ACT relating to managed health care plans.
Amend KRS 304.17A-510 to permit managed care plans to make the required information available to an enrollee in writing or in an accessible electronic format; amend KRS 304.17A-590 to permit managed care plans or risk-bearing managed care plans to make the required information available to an enrollee in writing or in an accessible electronic format.
SB 341 - AMENDMENTS
SFA (1, M. Long) - Retain original provisions and require managed care plans to notify an enrollee in writing of the availability of a printed document containing required information and permit the information to be available in an accessible electronic format.
HFA (1, B. Crall) - Require electronic disclosure to enrollees if the insurer has an established website on the internet.
