AN ACT relating to committees and declaring an emergency.
     Amend KRS 6.905, relating to the Program Review and Investigations Committee, to require the Legislative Research Commission to appoint one Senator and one Representative to serve as co-chairs, with alternating one-year terms as presiding co-chair; amend KRS 6.940, relating to the Medicaid Managed Care Oversight Advisory Committee, to require the Legislative Research Commission to appoint one Senator and one Representative to serve as co-chairs, with alternating one-year terms as presiding co-chair; amend KRS 7.110 to specify that official action by an interim joint committee of the Legislative Research Commission requires separate majority votes by the members of the Senate and the members of the House of Representatives; amend KRS 13A.020 to increase the membership of the Administrative Regulation Review Subcommittee from seven to eight members, four from the Senate, and four from the House of Representatives; require membership of at least one minority party member from each chamber; require the Legislative Research Commission to appoint one Senator and one Representative to serve as co-chairs, with alternating one-year terms as presiding co-chair; amend KRS 45.790, to increase the membership of the Capital Projects and Bond Oversight Committee from seven to eight members, four from the Senate and four from the House of Representatives; require membership of at least one minority party member from each chamber; require the Legislative Research Commission to appoint one Senator and one Representative to serve as co-chairs, with alternating one-year terms as presiding co-chair; amend KRS 45A.705 to increase the membership of the Goverment Contract Review Committee from seven to eight members, four from the Senate and four from the House of Representatives; require membership of at least one minority party member from each chamber; require the Legislative Research Commission to appoint one Senator and one Representative to serve as co-chairs, with alternating one-year terms as presiding co-chair; amend KRS 158.647, relating to the Education Assessment and Accountability Review Subcommittee, to require that it include four members of the Senate and four members of the House of Representatives; require membership of at least one minority party member from each chamber; require the Legislative Research Commission to appoint one Senator and one Representative to serve as co-chairs, with alternating one-year terms as presiding co-chair; repeal KRS 6.226, 6.227, 6.228, and 6.229, relating to the Legislative Compensation Commission.
