SB 88 (BR 1442) - M. Long, E. Worley

     AN ACT relating to contracts.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 45A to exempt Community Development Block Grant Program and recreational trails program memoranda of agreement and personal service contracts from routine review by the Government Contract Review Committee; require filing with the committee not more than thirty days after the effective date; and allow periodic review by the committee.

SB 88 - AMENDMENTS


     SCS - Provide that memoranda of agreement, memoranda of understanding and grants agreements relating to certain federally funded programs in the Department for Local Government and Natural Resources Cabinet are not subject to routine review by the Government Contracts Review Committee.
     SFA (1, M. Long) - Amend to exempt the Institutional Conservation Program and the Nonpoint Source Pollution Control Program within the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet from routine review by the committee; require filing with committee not more than thirty days after the effective date; and allow periodic review by the committee.
     SFA (2, D. Williams) - Remove review exemption by the Government Contract Review Committee for agreements funded solely through federal grant money, however require priority consideration by the committee.
