AN ACT relating to the abolition of the death penalty.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 532 to abolish the death penalty and require courts with jurisdiction over a person sentenced to death to sentence the person to imprisonment for life without benefit of probation or parole; amend KRS 24A.110, 24A.430, 431.060, 431.215, 431.510, 439.265, 439.3401, 440.280, 440.300, 532.025, 532.030, 532.100, 533.010, and 640.040 to conform; repeal 431.213, 431.2135, 431.218, 431.220, 431.223, 431.224, 431.240, 431.250, 431.260, 532.075, 532.300, 532.305, and 532.309, relating to the death penalty.
