AN ACT relating to educational cooperatives.
     Amend KRS 65.240 to establish the powers and operating procedures for local school boards that join together as an educational cooperative; direct the Kentucky Board of Education to promulgate administrative regulations to implement the provisions of the Act related to the operation of educational cooperatives; amend KRS 65.250 to require that educational cooperative agreement include the method to be used to return assets to the member school boards if the agreement is terminated; amend KRS 65.260 to require that interlocal cooperative agreements between or among local boards of education for the formation or continuation of an educational cooperative be approved by the Kentucky Board of Education prior to the submission to the Attorney General for approval; amend KRS 65.230 to conform.
