AN ACT relating to animal feeding operations.
     Create new sections of KRS 224.70 to define "Animal feeding operation", "Animal unit", "CAFO", and "KPDES"; to determine the number of animal units required to be classified as a CAFO; to require owners and operators of CAFOs to be responsible for complying with the conditions of KPDES permits; and to prohibit the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet from imposing stricter requirements on CAFOs than imposed by federal law or regulation.
