AN ACT relating to early childhood development.
Amend KRS 17.165 to include crimes in the definition of "sex crime"; include definition of "crime of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a child"; amend language in the prohibitions of employment in child care; amend KRS 156.160 to limit required vision examination to children ages 3 to 7 years old; redefine Head Start to public school grantee; amend KRS 199.8941 to limit subsidy incentives for child care to subsidy providers; amend KRS 199.896 to add the right to appeal a substantiated finding of abuse or neglect; amend KRS 200.707 to change language related to conflict of interest for council members; amend KRS 17.990 and 199.8982 to conform.
