AN ACT relating to interscholastic athletics.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 156 to require an annual medical examination for participation in high school interscholastic athletics and require the examination to be performed and signed by a physician, physician assistant, or an advanced registered nurse practitioner; and amend KRS 156.070 to prohibit the state board or agency that manages interscholastic athletics from promulgating rules, administrative regulations, or bylaws contrary to the provisions of this Act or other laws.
