AN ACT relating to telecommunications.
     Amend KRS 65.7629, dealing with the CMRS Board, to change the frequency of fee review and audit from 18 to 24 months and to add duties to the board; amend KRS 65.7631 to increase the funds available for administration of the CMRS board from 2.5% to an adjustable rate between 2.5% and 5%, to make a one-time $200,000 available to the board from the fund to implement call-counting, to create a grace period of 2 years in which merging PSAPs may continue to receive pro rata shares as if no merger had occurred, and to increase the purposes for which PSAP funds may be expended; amend KRS 65.7639 to permit the use of confidential customer information for the purpose of collecting delinquent fees; direct the CMRS board to conduct a study of equity issues surrounding PSAP funding.
