AN ACT relating to classified personnel in local school districts.
Amend KRS 161.011 to require that local school districts enter written contracts with classified employees for a minimum of 185 days beginning July 1, 2001, and each school year thereafter; amend KRS 78.615 to conform; make technical corrections.
HB 254 - AMENDMENTS
HCS/FN/AA - Eliminate all proposed changes to KRS 78.615 in original bill and delete references to "185 day contract requirement."
SCA (1, L. Casebier) - Amend KRS 78.615 to allow noncertified employees of school boards who retire between July 1, 2000, and August 1, 2001, to choose to receive credit for school year 2000/01 as calculated before July 15, 2000.
