AN ACT relating to school law enforcement officers.
Amend KRS 15.380 and 61.900 to define school security officers as school law enforcement officers; amend KRS 61.920 to provide that school law enforcement officers employed by local boards of education and certified under the provisions of KRS 15.382 to 15.402 may have the powers and duties of a peace officer anywhere in the area the school district serves when the local board adopts a policy.
