AN ACT relating to school facilities and declaring an emergency.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 156 to direct the Kentucky Board of Education to develop criteria for the competitive allocation of federal school renovation grants to local school districts; require the criteria to include a weight to give priority for funds to be allocated to districts that have schools designated as transitional centers under KRS 157.420; apply the criteria to the FY2001 state allocation and each year's allocation thereafter; EMERGENCY.
