AN ACT relating to the Court of Justice.
Amend KRS 24A.280 relating to service of process on a defendant to make a technical correction.
HB 324 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Delete original provisions; amend KRS 23A.020 relating to Judicial Circuits to redefine the 29th Judicial Circuit as Adair and Casey counties; redefine the 40th Judicial Circuit as Monroe, Cumberland, and Clinton counties; create a new 57 to Judicial Circuit comprised of Russell and Wayne counties; amend KRS 23A.040 to provide one additional circuit judge for the 41st Judicial Circuit of Clay, Jackson, and Leslie counties and the 51st Judicial Circuit consisting of Henderson county; amend KRS 24A.050 relating to Judicial Districts with two district judges to add one additional judge for the 5th Judicial District consisting of Crittenden, Union, and Webster counties and to add one additional judge for the 37th Judicial District consisting of Carter, Elliott, and Morgan counties; effective April 1, 2002.
HFA (1, G. Lindsay) - Delete 2001 effective date, replace with 2002 effective date.
SFA (1, D. Adams) - Amend Section 2 to include Fourth Judicial Circuit; and add a new noncodified section to explain delayed effective date and contingency.
