HB 360 (BR 1258) - J. Coleman, I. Branham
AN ACT relating to controlled substances.
Amend KRS 218A.180 to require any prescription for oxycodone hydrochloride to have the diagnosis on the prescription and signed by the practitioner ordering the medication; and limit the prescribing of oxycodone hydrochloride to diagnoses approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration or listed on the manufacturer's labeling.
HB 360 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain original provisions, except expand prohibition to the variant morphine sulfate and the common name MS Contin, and increase the range of acceptable diagnoses to those on the manufacturer's labeling.
HFA (1, G. Lindsay) - Delete original provisions; amend KRS 218A.070 to add oxycodone hydrochloride as a schedule II controlled substance.
