AN ACT relating to crimes and punishments.
Amend KRS 503.050 relating to the use of physical force in self-protection to authorize the use of deadly force against criminal homicide, burglary, robbery, and deviate sexual intercourse and the attempt to commit such crimes, in addition to current authorized use of deadly force.
HB 49 - AMENDMENTS
HCS/CI - Revise the amendment to KRS 503.050 relating to the use of physical force in self-defense so that the amendment authorizes the use of deadly force against burglary in the first degree, burglary in the second degree, robbery, sodomy in the first degree, sodomy in the second degree, and sodomy in the third degree; amend KRS 503.070 relating to the use of physical force in the defense of others so that the new language authorizes the use of deadly force against burglary in the first degree, burglary in the second degree, robbery, sodomy in the first degree, sodomy in the second degree, and sodomy in the third degree.
