     Direct the Interim Joint Committee on Appropriations and Revenue to conduct a study of the weight distance tax and the usage tax on motor carriers and options for replacing lost revenue if the taxes are eliminated or modified.

HCR 8 - AMENDMENTS


     HCS - Retain original provisions; provide that the study shall not be conducted if the General Assembly enacts a resolution to study tax reform, including the weight distance tax.
     HCA (1/Title, J. Coleman) - Make title amendment.
     SCS - Retain the original provisions; direct the study to include the development of passenger and freight rail initiatives in the Commonwealth.
     SCA (1/Title, R. Sanders Jr) - Make title amendment.
