AN ACT relating to motor vehicles.
     Amend KRS 304.39-020 to define underinsured motorist to mean a party with motor vehicle liability insurance coverage in an amount less than recoverable damages against the party rather than an amount less than a judgment recovered; provide that no motor vehicle liability policy of insurance insuring against loss shall be delivered in this state unless coverage is provided therein or supplemental thereto in limits for bodily injury or death set forth in KRS 304.39-110; provide that the named insured shall have the right to reject in writing underinsured motorist coverage; provide that unless the named insured requests underinsured motorist coverage in writing the coverage need not be provided in or supplemental to a renewal policy where the named insured rejected the coverage in connection with a policy previously issued to him by the same insurer.
