AN ACT relating to evidence.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 422 to permit certain employees of the Department of Corrections to testify through deposition; permit certain Department of Corrections records to be proved as to foundation, identity, and authenticity, without any preliminary testimony, by use of legible and durable copies certified by the custodian of the originals.
SB 156 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Amend to make records provisions subject to prior court approval.
HFA (1, J. Vincent) - Retain provisions of House Committee Substitute and provide that corrections employees may testify by deposition when acting in their official capacity.
