AN ACT relating to school terms.
Amend KRS 158.070 to require all public schools to be closed on November eleventh in observance of Veterans' Day.
SB 16 - AMENDMENTS
SFA (1, V. McGaha) - Delete provisions in original bill requiring school districts to designate Veterans' Day as one of the 4 days of the minimum school term that may be used for additional holidays; require schools to be closed for Veterans' Day, but allow school districts to designate Veterans' Day as one of the 4 holidays within the minimum school term as defined in KRS 158.070(1) or allow school districts not to include the day in the minimum school term.
