AN ACT relating to permanent committees.
     Amend KRS 121.150 to delete the prohibition against a candidate or slate accepting contribution from funds in a federal campaign account, and delete the prohibition against a person making a contribution from funds in a federal campaign account to any candidate or slate for any office in the state; amend KRS 121.170 to permit any federally-registered permanent committee to be exempt from registration with the Registry of Election Finance and provisions of KRS 121.160 and 121A.070, and require that a federally-registered permanent committee file a copy of its federal registration with the Registry; and amend KRS 121.180 to permit any federally-registered permanent committee to be exempt from making reports to the Registry under that section.
