SB 40/LM (BR 316) - T. Buford
AN ACT relating to special spay neuter license plates.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 186 to establish a special spay neuter license plate; require 900 requests with a $50 deposit before license is to be printed; establish extra fee of $10 for initial registration and $5 for renewal registration to go to the animal control and care fund to foster spay neuter programs in the state; EFFECTIVE January 1, 2002.
SB 40 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Delete original provisions and provide that excess SEEK funds remaining after the SEEK base and all SEEK adjustments shall not be reallocated to school districts but shall be appropriated by the General Assembly for educational purposes; exempt the funds from the General Fund Budget Reduction Plan except as may be required under subsection (7) of the plan.
