AN ACT relating to state employee health insurance.
Amend KRS 18A.227 to prohibit a state employee who participates in the state health insurance program as a retiree from receiving a state health insurance contribution as a result of employment with any agency that participates in any of the state administered retirement systems; provide that beginning July 1, 2001, any state employee who on April 20, 2000 was participating in the state health insurance program as a retiree and was receiving a state health insurance contribution as a result of employment with any agency participating in any state administered retirement system and has been continuously employed with such an agency from April 20, 2000, to July 1, 2001, shall receive the state health insurance contribution as a result of employment with an agency that participates in any of the state administered retirement systems.
