AN ACT relating to Medicaid.
Amend KRS 205.561 to define "weighted mean"; require the Cabinet for Health Services to promulgate an ordinary administrative regulation, rather than an emergency administrative regulation, when establishing the Medicaid dispensing fee for prescription medications.

SFA (1, J. Denton) - Retain original provisions; amend KRS 205.5632 to authorize the Department for Medicaid Services to require any drug on the nonprior authorized list to be prior authorized for a dosage or duration of therapy that exceeds those recommended in the Physicians' Desk Reference or recommended by the drug manufacturer.
