Direct the Interim Joint Committee on Appropriations and Revenue to study the development of passenger and freight rail initiatives in the Commonwealth; require the committee to report to LRC not later than September 30, 2002.
SCR 41 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Retain original provisions and direct the study to include abandoned rail corridors and also address the issues of the weight distance tax and the usage tax on motor carriers and options for replacing revenues lost from eliminating or modifying the weight distance tax and the usage tax on motor carriers.

SFA (2, G. Neal) - Include provision directing additional study of at-risk cemeteries in the Commonwealth.
