AN ACT relating to electrical workers.
     Establishes KRS Chapter 227A and creates new sections to require anyone who considers himself or herself an electrical contractor or master electrician to be licensed; permits a local licensing program in existence on the effective date of this Act to become the Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction's agent to issue and renew licenses and to retain the fees collected; amend KRS 227.450 and 227.480 to conform; repeal KRS 227.490, 227.4901, and 227.530, effective July 15, 2003.
