HB 175/LM (BR 920) - R. Crimm
AN ACT relating to sheriffs' fees.
Amend KRS 64.090 to allow sheriffs to collect fee of $20, unless a commission, percentage or reasonable fee is otherwise specified, when the person requesting the service is not an agent of the commonwealth, while keeping the fees charged to the state unchanged.
HB 175 - AMENDMENTS
HFA (1, R. Crimm) - Clarify that Department of State Police is agency of the state and that fees chargeable to the department by the sheriff remain the same.
