AN ACT relating to criminal procedure.
Amend KRS 431.005 to add airport police officers to the class of peace officers authorized to arrest persons without a warrant upon probable cause that an act of domestic violence has occurred.
HB 228 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Clarify for the purposes of the bill that an airport police officer is a safety and security officer appointed pursuant to KRS 183.880 while on airport property for an offense occurring on airport property or on an aircraft.
HFA (1, J. Coleman) - Create a new section of KRS Chapter 183 to prohibit carrying concealed weapons, dangerous instruments, or explosive or incendiary devices in the secure area of an airport; exempt peace officers and persons boarding non-airline and governmental aircraft.
