     AN ACT related to pharmacists.
     Amend KRS 315.121 to define "minor violations" and to permit pharmacists sanctioned for minor violations to request expungement from permanent record after 3 years.

HB 249 - AMENDMENTS


     HFA (1, M. Treesh) - Create new section of KRS Chapter 315 to allow a licensed pharmacist to refuse to dispense pregnancy termination drugs without incurring a penalty or being held liable; prohibit institutions and medical facilities from discriminating against any pharmacist who refuses to dispense pregnancy termination drugs.

     SFA (1, W. Blevins) - Retain provisions of original bill but allow individuals licensed under KRS 320.310, KRS Chapter 311, and KRS Chapter 313, who have been sanctioned for minor violations, to apply to their respective boards to have sanctions expunged from their permanent records after 3 years have lapsed; require licensing boards under KRS 320.310, KRS Chapter 311, and KRS Chapter 313 to promulgate administrative regulations to define minor violations; and allow violations under KRS 320.310, KRS Chapter 311, and KRS Chapter 313 to be expunged only once.
