AN ACT relating to student credit cards.
Amend KRS 287.385 to direct the Council on Postsecondary Education and the governing bodies of each accredited private or independent college or university to regulate credit card marketing practices used on campuses; require sites where student credit cards are marketed to be registered with the campus administration; prohibit credit card marketers from offering gifts to students for filling out credit card applications; require credit card and debt education to become a regular part of campus orientation for new students; define "student credit card."
