AN ACT relating to school law enforcement officers.
Amend KRS 15.380 and KRS 61.900 to change the term "school security officer" to "school law enforcement officer"; amend KRS 61.920 to clarify that a school law enforcement officer employed by local boards of education may have the powers and duties of a peace officer in school-related matters anywhere the school district serves when the school district adopts an administrative policy authorizing those powers.
