AN ACT relating to naming public projects and programs.
     Create new sections of KRS Chapter 56, 65, 164A, and 162 to prohibit a state agency, a unit of local government, a school district, or a public postsecondary educational institution from naming a building, road, bridge, other structure, or a program it administers, for a living person who is a present or former elected public official unless the official states, in writing, that he will not seek reelection or election to any office; require written statement to be filed with the Secretary of State if the naming is by a state agency or postsecondary educational institution or with county clerk if naming is by local government or school district.
