      AN ACT relating to biodiesel fuel.
     	Create a new section of KRS 363.900 to 363.908 to require all diesel fuel sold in the Commonwealth to contain 2% biodiesel until July, 2007, when the requirement increases to 5%. 
 
HB 40 - AMENDMENTS 
      HCS/FN - Replace original biodiesel mandates with requirement that federally mandated sulfur reduction must be accomplished by blending biodiesel; direct a study of biodiesel issues during the 2005 interim.
       HCA (1, J. Arnold Jr) - Require that blend used to achieve federal low-sulfur diesel mandate be at least two percent biodiesel.
       HFA (1, G. Tapp) - Exempt railroads from the requirements of the Act.
