HB 415/FN (BR 1748) - B. Heleringer

     AN ACT relating to the Kentucky Law Enforcement Foundation Program.
     Amend KRS 15.410 to 15.510 and KRS 42.190 to add Kentucky State Police officers to the provisions of the Kentucky Law Enforcement Foundation Program fund; provide that the State Police receive a supplement when KLEFP funds exceed $3,000,000.

HB 415 - AMENDMENTS


     HCS/FN - Delete the original provisions and create the Task Force on Recruitment and Retention of Kentucky State Police officers to study the issue of participation in the Law Enforcement Foundation Program fund by Kentucky State Police officers.

     HFA (1, B. Heleringer) - Retain original provisions; add two members to the task force representing the Justice Cabinet and appointed by the Secretary of the Justice Cabinet.

     HFA (2, B. Heleringer) - Retain original provisions; require that the two officers of the Kentucky State Police appointed to the task force hold a rank below that of corporal.
