AN ACT relating to beaver population control.
     Amend KRS 150.425 relating to bounty on beavers to require the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources to establish a program to provide for the control of unwanted beaver populations in order to prevent unwanted flooding and destruction of timber, crops, farmland, and other property; allow adoption of a resolution by a watershed conservancy district, or a soil conservation district rather than the fiscal court, declaring beaver problems; require the department to pay a $35 bounty on beaver taken from the district by or for a landowner in the district; delete language requiring that receipts be paid only from funds especially appropriated for the purpose of controlling beaver; add penalty if bounty is sought for beaver not from the district or taken by or for a landowner in the district.
