AN ACT relating to economic development.
     Amend KRS 42.4588 to require the commissioner of the Department for Coal County Development to approve golf courses and facilities for transient lodging, recreation, and entertainment if the grant application specifies that the facilities shall be conveyed to the Department of Parks to become a component of an existing state park within the county; projects that have been approved under this section on or after July 15, 1998, upon passage of an ordinance, may be transferred to the Department of Parks to become a component of the state park within the county; amend KRS 148.066 to compel the Department of Parks to accept golf courses and facilities for transient lodging, recreation, and entertainment that have been approved under KRS 42.4588.
