AN ACT relating to corrections employees.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 18A to require the Personnel Cabinet to establish a separate classification and compensation system for all Department of Corrections employees who work in any correctional institution; provide that all current employees shall have adequate adjustments made to their classification and compensation based on their training, experience, and educational background; provide a pay incentive of five percent (5%) to base pay for employees that reach 5, 10, and fifteen 15 years of service and for those employees that complete an accredited college or vocational degree program.
