AN ACT relating to filing fees for office.
Amend KRS 118.255 to require the Secretary of State or county clerk to refund a filing fee if the candidate is redistricted into a new district after having paid the filing fee and the redistricting renders any portion of the notification and declaration previously filed by the candidate under KRS 118.165 incorrect.

HFA (1, R. Damron) - Amend to increase filing fee for candidates for Commonwealth's Attorney, General Assembly, District Court, Circuit Court, Court of Appeals, and Supreme Court from $200 to $500; amend KRS 64.012 to conform.
