      AN ACT relating to professional firefighters.
     	Amend KRS 345.010 and 345.030 to permit collective bargaining for full-time paid firefighters in any political subdivision of the state including any special district, city, county, charter county, consolidated local government, or urban-county government; define full-time paid firefighter as a firefighter who receives a minimum salary of eight thousand dollar ($8,000) and works a minimum of two thousand and eighty (2,080) hours per year; and create new section of KRS Chapter 345 to exempt volunteer fire fighters from collective bargaining coverage.
