AN ACT relating to nonpublic schools.
     Create new sections of KRS Chapter 158 to define terms relating to nonpublic schools, establish requirements for a home study program, and testing requirements for home study students; amend KRS 159.030 to add references to home study programs; amend KRS 159.040 to define the forms of scholarship reports; amend KRS 158.080 to update language relating to nonpublic schools and to specify appropriate reference to other statutory language; amend KRS 159.051 to require that the driver's license of a home study student who was academically deficient or deemed to have dropped out of school the current or preceding semester be revoked or denied for three (3) months; amend KRS 159.140 to require review of attendance and scholarship reports at least once during a school year for all home study programs by the local district pupil personnel director or a designee; amend KRS 186.440 to conform.
