HB 55 (BR 480) - S. Nunn
AN ACT relating to school-based decision making councils.
Amend KRS 160.345 to allow applicants considered by school-based decision making councils until September 15 to provide evidence that they are qualified as required by law, administrative regulations, and school board policies.
HB 55 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Permit the superintendent to submit names of qualified applicants who have pending certification based on recent completion of preparation requirements, out-of-state preparation, and alternative routes to certification; and replace language to require applicants to prove certification prior to assuming duties in accordance with KRS 161.020.
