AN ACT relating to the abolition of the death penalty.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 532 to abolish the death penalty and require court with jurisdiction over person sentenced to death to sentence the person to imprisonment for life without benefit of probation or parole; amend KRS 24A.110, 27A.430, 431.060, 431.215, 431.510, 439.265, 440.280, 440.300, 506.010, 506.030, 506.040, 506.080, 507.020, 509.040, 520.120, 527.200, 532.030, 532.040, 532.050, 532.100, 532.140, 533.010, 610.265, 635.020, 635.090, and 640.040 to conform; repeal 431.213, 431.2135, 431.218, 431.220, 431.223, 431.224, 431.240, 431.250, 431.260, 532.025, 532.075, 532.300, 532.305, and 532.309, relating to the death penalty.
