AN ACT relating to facilities operated by the Department for Juvenile Justice.
     Create a new section of KRS Chapter 605 to require the Department of Juvenile Justice to notify local communities 30 days in advance of acquiring, leasing, constructing, or moving any of its facilities or programs; require the department to conduct a public hearing if requested, and specify that the notice requirements apply to group homes but not to foster homes operated by the department.
