AN ACT relating to reorganization.
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 278 to establish the Kentucky Energy Policy Advisory Board; confirm Executive Orders 2001-607; 2001-772; and 2001-889.
HB 643 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain the original provisions of the bill except increase the membership of the board to seventeen members; provide at-large board members be increased to ten members with one at-large member being a representative of the Municipal Electric Power Association of Kentucky and the other being an additional consumer member.
HFA (1, C. Geveden) - Permit a designee to serve on the Kentucky State Energy Policy Advisory Board for the Secretary of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet, for the chairman of the Public Service Commission, and for the director of the Division of Energy.
SCA (1, E. Harris) - Add a member to the Kentucky State Energy Policy Advisory Board representing Western Kentucky; make conforming changes; include Executive Order 2002-178 among those being confirmed in the bill.
