HB 805 (BR 2725) - R. Webb, Ro. Adams, T. Kerr
AN ACT relating to children and minors.
Amend KRS 199.462 and 605.090 to provide that if the foster home in which a child to be placed already has a child living there, then the Justice Cabinet or, as the case may be, the Cabinet for Families and Children shall inform the person in charge of the foster home whether the child to be placed is a juvenile sexual offender, as that term is defined in KRS 635.505(2).
HB 805 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Require that when a child is placed anywhere other than the home of the child's parents, the Cabinet for Families and Children or the Department of Juvenile Justice shall notify the person or authority supervising the child of any known sexual acts or offenses committed by the child.
HCA (1/Title, G. Lindsay) - Amend title to read "AN ACT relating to foster care."
