AN ACT relating to notaries.
Amend KRS 423.010 relating to notaries to permit a notary to be appointed from his or her county of primary employment as well as his or her county of residence.
HB 87 - AMENDMENTS
HCS - Retain provisions of the bill; require that Kentucky notaries be Kentucky residents.
SCS - Permit a person who is not a resident of Kentucky, but who is employed in Kentucky, to become a notary public.
